  • What excites you most about your research?

I’m most excited about understanding how the structure vibrates under extreme weather conditions, such as hurricanes, thunderstorms or winter storms. I enjoy the process of designing strong, safe, and economic infrastructures.

  • What’s the most valuable aspect of your research for people and communities?

With this research, the people can community can understand better how the power infrastructure behaves under extreme weather conditions. Valuable information will be provided to the community to build and maintain a safe and livable neighborhood.

Research Focus: Structural dynamics and cover fluid-structure interactions, structural vibrations, fatigue damages, and energy harvest from structural vibrations.
