EEC Welcomes Dr. Cory Merow

Eversource Energy Center would like to welcome Cory Merow, Ph.D., a quantitative ecologist specializing in mechanistic models forecasting population and community responses to environmental change. Center’s Berk Alpay Featured in UConn Magazine

Center Study Shows Tree Trimming Can Reduce Power Outages 16-65%

A recent study published in Electrical Power Systems Research shows regular tree trimming and vegetation management can reduce power outages during storms.
